Social networking is the most popular online activity for this age group.

On social networking websites:

Adolescents may create personal profiles where they post personal information. This may include their name, age, school name, likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies, images, videos, etc.
Adolescents may use the chat component to talk with other people on the social network.
Adolescents may use the email/message component to talk with others online.
Adolescents may join groups/networks which represent their interests and/or activities.
Adolescents may play games, add "applications," do quizzes, send gifts to friends, etc.
Adolescents may be able see when their contacts are online.
Some users may bully and/or "stalk" other users.
