What are the risks?
Content:
- Children can be exposed to sexually explicit content online (i.e. filenames can be changed and may not necessarily reflect the content of the file).
- By downloading files from peer-to-peer (P2P) and/or BitTorrent programs, there is a risk of downloading viruses and malware.
The act of downloading something on a P2P network also runs the risk of breaking copyright law.
