Search Engines
What is it?
A search engine allows people to search for information on the Internet (World Wide Web). Users enter a query (text-based, generally using key words) into the search engine. The user is then presented with a list of results which may include links to web pages, images, information and other types of files. Many popular search engines have free filtering tools that eliminate adult/sexually explicit websites from Internet searches (e.g. Google SafeSearch feature).
