How do kids use it?
- At this age, kids are creating personal profiles on social networking sites where they post their personal information. Personal information may include their name, age, school name, likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies, images, and videos.
- Kids may use the chat component of social networking sites to talk with other people on the network. These sites may allow users to see when their contacts are online.
- Kids may use the email/message component to connect with others online.
- Kids may join groups/networks which represent their interests and/or activities.
- Kids can play games on social networking sites. These sites allow users, including children, to add applications, do quizzes, and send gifts to friends.
- Some users may bully and/or stalk other users.
