How can I make it safer?

Teach children to create passwords that others can't easily guess, and that contain a combination of numbers and letters (both upper- and lower-case).

Set the expectation that student's online activities will be monitored while at school, as the Internet is a public place.
Discuss with students the qualities of healthy and unhealthy friendships.
Teach students not to open any emails and/or email attachments if they don't know the sender.
Explain to students that if they come across something or someone that makes them feel uncomfortable, they can tell you without fear of losing computer privileges.
